Oooh, lighting

People seem to really like panel four of strip #562, so here's a big ol' full-size jpeg version suitable for desktop sizing.

Faye

I liked how Faye turned out in panel 4 of comic 556, so I decided to turn it into a desktop-sized image. Click the graphic to get the full-size version, and resize/crop to your heart's content.

Bad habits

More face practice. I have a bad habit of drawing people's eyes way too big. I'm trying to break myself of this habit and get a little bit more realistic in the process. Big cartoony eyeballs are fun (and easier) to draw, but they're not how I see the characters in my head anymore. We'll see how things look in Monday's QC.

HOBOCORE

I think this is gonna be the next QC shirt design; it's been bouncing around in my head for like two months.

sketches

Some sketches of Marten. I'm trying to get a little more realistic with the eyes and facial proportions. Who knows if I'm succeeding or not.

Line Weight

Sometimes it takes twenty minutes of fucking around with line weight settings in Photoshop for me to remember why I draw things the way I do. This'd look considerably less assy if I had just used good ol' 20px Oval Brush.
